PREEN SS2012

I love Preen's new collection, the print is clever and amazing, in a digital style, with feminine florals, elegant, and modern

LFW

Unfortunately LFW came on a weekend that i was very busy, i still managed to go for a few hours on saturday, (in which it rained most time i was there) and a few hours on Sunday, catching John Rocha a collection of beautiful neutral and textile pieces, very well made! and Mario Schwab which was impressive shimmering on the catwalk with clever designs that looked inspired by 20s cuts.

 JOHN ROCHA
The whole feel of the show was great, from the music played to the atmosphere and clothes, it was quite mystical and magical...Loved the head pieces and the worrier-esque vibe of the models!

John Rocha's collection being loaded on the van to go to the shop, i was wondering if anyone would notice me taking something of the rail, the answer being yes of course!

Model after the show, love the hair and makeup

With an array of vintage sourced trims, and using vintage style detailing and fastenings to recreate the wonders of one off vintage garments, evoking a delicate, romantic feel throughout this collection. Taking elements of the past and transforming them into the new and the timeless in pieces such as intricate lazer cut shorts inspired by vintage lace knickers. Prints throughout each outfit create a romantic patchwork of femininity with a harder darker edge. Each piece embodies a part of Edie, echoing her youthful naivety, her eccentricity, her ache for show business, and her darker melancholy side. Each piece tells a story with its unique detail and print…
